HIL Simulator

 

The HIL simulator that Controllab provides is generally a PC computer with a Windows operating system. On this PC a simulation environment is installed, which is used to run the plant model. The connection with the control system is provided by IO which is connected with the fieldbus of the controller. The simulation environment provides the proper communication between the plant model and the IO.

Control System

Controllab can provide HIL simulators with various simulation environments:

  • WinMOD: Broad range of HIL-couplings (various field busses), models based on function blocks
  • 20-sim: Component based dynamical plant models (1D and 3D models of complex physical plants)
